I hope you join me on a journey, a labour of love, if you will. A journey that is a dream I’ve always wanted to do. A radio format featuring the best of traditional and alternative country and country-influenced rock and folk. Roots music! I had an idea for this back in the 1990s. The best of country and rock….I was told it would never work. Rock folk don’t like country, and country people only like country AND western. Life happens, and careers took me elsewhere.

In 2022, I decided to stop hearing the negativity and put this dream together on my own.

Welcome to the Crossroads of Americana. Here, weekly, you will hear traditional and outlaw country, country-influenced rock, and alternative country- nothing you will find on current top 40 country. Gram Parsons to Johnny Cash. The Byrds to The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Buck Owens to The Jayhawks.

Alt-Country, “Americana,” “New Weird American,” “Anti-Folk,” or whatever you want to call it, this music is linked by a sincere appreciation and acknowledgement of the music that came before it.
