Monday 6th July will be a date to remember for Mad Cat Events and station manager Tim Allan, as they officially launch Radio Evesham, covering Worcestershire and beyond.

With thirty presenters supplying an amazing seventy-eight weekly shows, Radio Evesham starts with a full schedule.

Station manager Tim Allan commented, “I am so pleased at the response that I have had with presenters contacting me offering their shows. We have a daily rock show with Bobby Riley from America each weekday; we have two or three other American presenters and John Watson all the way from New Zealand!

“We have a breakfast show each weekday from 7 am for three hours with Piers and some great shows with music covering everything from the 50s to date with lots of classic retro tunes.

“I will be presenting three shows a week myself; our socials are all up and running, we have a WhatsApp Channel so you can get our news fast to your phone.

Concluding, Tim added, “I must say a massive thank you to a few people who have donated to the station; you know who you are, and your help has made this all possible to move forwards on a very quick timeline to get us fully licensed with PRS and PPL and to go live.

“At every home match at Evesham United, I will be covering the football live with Harry Stables, which is broadcast live on our football feed, which can be found at the foot of our website.

“I hope you enjoy your new community radio station, which is available from any device”.
